What would it take for you to step away?

Equivalent or better pay and benefits (sans the atc retirement, but im willing to give that up for a better life otherwise), normal schedule, the ability to not bid leave a year in advance and know I can get it without burning sick leave.... ya know normal job stuff.

Oh and to not be shackled to a job with no hope of career advancement or a location change.

There's lots of good things about this job but it comes with a lot of pitfalls people just brush off because of that baller retirement and wearing flip flops to work.

I've always wondered who runs ATC there, do they have active duty working at all or just DOD civs?
It’s a little complicated we are all civilians but we are state employees due to the appendix that the NGB signed with Colorado. However all of our funding is paid by the NGB. So we’re in both camps at the same time. Still bound and ran like DoD but pay side is carried out by Colorado
