But they didn’t say couples making 400k, so let’s see actual policy before we jump to conclusions, and i would say people who make more can pay more in taxes since we will never have a flat rate

You are right they did not say couple. But if it is, that means for singles the threshold will be much lower say 200-250? That’s not right.

just because they make more Absolutely does not mean they should pay more. With this career We have the opportunity to be in these high income brackets and I’m not sorry I don’t want to be taxed more just because I make more. Let’s control spending before we tax people more. Love those Democrat talking points too.

I don’t think they are the devil, I am more than happy to pay an adequate amount given my family’s high income for services the government provides. However, I don’t believe more taxes are always the right answer to a ballooning and out of control debt and I don’t like when people want to assume I should pay more just because I can. Approximately 8 percent of the entire federal budget is just the interest on our debt. Fuck that. I also don’t like to pay for the baby boomers mistakes and poor mis management of govt funds over the last 30+ years.
One specific examples hats being discussed now, i don’t want to pay more taxes just because I can for college debt or college costs to allow people to go to college whenever they want to have the same career outcome of a much cheaper option. States schools and community colleges in all for. But to go to usc, NYU or some other expensive ass no name school to major in something that school isn’t even known for, fuck that.
