Because locality is NOT based on cost of living. Locality is an adjustment for the average salaries in the surrounding area.

ASE isn't that bad cost wise if you live in Glenwood Springs, 45 min drive away. They also get 10% AD pay and 10% CIP. So a cpc makes around 100k. If you look at their numbers as well they will probably be a level 6 soon.

Yeah I have LM. From what her and the medical rep told me HR has nothing to do with it until the clearance is approved or denied but who knows. I think Skydaddy is still waiting on medical or took a while too and he has LM. We could all just be waiting on the same busy flight doc too.
