Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-22-ATCEXP-80642

I think mine will be a few more days cause I redid my experience survey. The HR rep got back to me pretty quick Thursday/Friday so thats a good sign I guess!

Meh it was submitted before the changes but the TOL wasn't cut until after the changes... So new stupid ones. Debating still on which TOL to take.
Ah bummer, not advice, but i'd probably accept both of them. See my best option and make them show me their hand first and then turn down whichever FOL is the worse deal. My old supervisor had accepted like 3 TOL's to staff support spec jobs and he turned them all down when his number one job sent him a TOL.

Essentially what I am doing, just waiting for my Rep to tell me to pick

So on the EODS it asks about military service/characterization of discharge. I’m still active duty and only have an expected DOS. What do I put for that section? Also in the email from HR rep it said it needed dd214. Is that only for people who applied with vet preference?

I forget what they call it but theirs like an expected statement of discharge. It’s used when you’re still active and getting out soon but forget the name of it. Basically it just says your active duty still but are expected to honorably discharge.

Letter in lieu of DD214 was what I used.

Does anyone get nice high level facilities anymore? Last one I saw was @pushingtin but it looks like they deleted their account

it seems only if you have like 10 years exp and tracons and stuff if you want higher than 7. i saw in the last bid a guy from Wisconsin got midway on his list.

I know someone at s46 who was only had some radar experience (no approach) and got hired out of the navy straight into that job. He’s not even sure how it happened

Not necessarily. It was moreso based off his actual facility experience. I've seen plenty people with 10 years experience get absolute hot garbage lists. Pretty much should anticipate 7 and below unless you have radar experience. Even then, it's not guaranteed.
