Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-22-ATCEXP-80642

People still putting up downs as top choices in 2023. Hope you’re prepared to retire there (only slightly exaggerating)
I still constantly see people on Reddit and Facebook recommending "pick whatever up down you won't mind staying at for a few years" lmao

I got the same list. Anyone know any facilities to avoid on the list? I'm looking to get near Pensacola as soon as I can to be near family so any info on a "quick" turnaround choice would be very helpful as well.
A bit vague, since I don't think anyone saw this. There were 2 separate lists floating around. If I had to guess, I would pick you got the 5-7 level facilities? If your end goal is Pensacola and you have a CTO, pick a 90%+ staffed tower and play the game. That seems to be the best bet from what I have read if you are trying to leave. Tower check-out times are always quicker than up/downs.
From what I saw there were some 100% staffed/projected towers on that list, which seems pretty crazy. In the end, pick a spot you are somewhat okay with, but if you want to move, check current and projected staffing levels.

Haven't submitted yet - will do today after work. I'm debating SDF, BHM, CRP, CVG, MKE as my top 5, but not sure on order yet.
Cincinnati also has a lot to offer. I currently work at the FCT out here, and the city has a small feel but lots to do.

Yeah I got the 4-7 levels list and I've got a couple CTOs and was in the agency for a year and a half before resigning. I did pretty much what you suggested and made sure to list highly desirable locations too. Time to wait and see again. Hopefully ERR works out this time. Appreciate the info.

Best of luck. Hopefully it all works out for you.
