Outbound Pause

sounds like it was true if it had to be overridden
"My facility is eligible to release according to PPT, but won’t due to management and NATCA agreeing to pause."

What the dude claimed on his first post. It was never getting approved and all of you anti-NATCA people ate it up. Gullible as shit if you think CMH of all facilities would be the first facility in the fucking NAS to be override NCEPT. It doesn't matter what his ATM or Rep say and the fact all of you thought it was true is comical.

This is wildly wrong about what’s going on at CMH lol it’s really funny to see you guys get all worked up about this when you don’t have all the facts.

Basically CMH has a very bad staffing problem (I know everybody does) and the CRWG aims to fix that (probably not) the staffing number will be raised from 41 to 55. However, in the meantime they are all working 6 day work weeks since 2016 with staffing triggers every week (just ask ZID) and it seems really counter intuitive to release people when that’s the case. It was suggested to NATCA and management that they write a request to try and raise the staffing projection number temporarily to potentially stop NCEPT losses to help the 35 CPCs who have been working their asses off for 7 years. The request also included verbiage to increase the request for controllers until proper staffing is met. This was all conveyed to the workforce and the overwhelming majority was on board. It was also stated that if the CRWG was not successfully passed that NCEPT “freeze” would also stop immediately and people would be allowed to transfer out.

This request was denied and all is normal. CMH will continue to work 6 days a week and have staffing triggers because the will of 1 person is more important than the rest. Chill the fuck out.

And fuck you Rick

So to make it clear. Natca tried to do this. But all the natca lovers are saying that it’s made up but then the explanation is that it’s not made up. Is this correct? You should be able to apply for and get hired for any open position you qualify for period. Them over engineering everything is what’s fucking everything up.

55 controllers to run a level 8 up down with 2 parallel runways that are a mile apart? Give me a break. I'm all for fixing staffing numbers, but this has to be a joke.

Is anyone upset or surprised that the local leadership at CMH is trying to do what they feel is best for CMH? But this thread is either naive or a reach at drama. You can’t stop releases at the local level so yeah the OP saying it’s approved is like your kid approving skittles for dinner.

Woah, what did I do? … probably the wrong Rick. 😂

Wasn’t looking for drama, was simply asking if it had been done at other facilities. I also stated that CMH really needed to fix the staffing problem.

I also never said one thing on this forum that was untrue.

I’m sorry I wanted transparency on my future.

Basically CMH has a very bad staffing problem (I know everybody does)
Then don't post it because it's not relevant
the CRWG aims to fix that (probably not) the staffing number will be raised from 41 to 55.
Never going to happen. Lots of facilities were given rosy numbers of what the CRWG says they should have. None of it will occur because money.
However, in the meantime they are all working 6 day work weeks since 2016 with staffing triggers every week (just ask ZID)
So have lots of places. You aren't special.

Sure does but this is NCEPT and them's the rules pal.

And the overwhelming majority of my workforce would opt the fuck out of NCEPT and go to first in first out OR the old transfer system any day of the week. But that's not how it works at all. You can't just vote to exempt yourself from policies you don't like.

This request was denied and all is normal. CMH will continue to work 6 days a week and have staffing triggers because the will of 1 person is more important than the rest. Chill the fuck out.

Yeah no shit it was. It would have been stopped at many levels of union and management because it would set a precedent that facilities can dictate their own custom release policies. It's never going to happen dude.

Also Rick sounds cool give him a break.

Natca leadership seems to ALWAYS do what’s best for the FAA and nothing that’s good for members.

Bro you know what's so ironic? You're a big ol liberal union lover but you've slowly been souring on natca as the years have gone by. I actually appreciate that you're critical of their flaws and not just an apologist for everything they do as some people are. Maybe if you could just see the light in other areas of things that affect your life and standard of living, you might grow into a respectable adult man one day and I won't have to argue with you so much.

Because they don’t do anything to help labor! All other unions are getting everyone raises.

Republicans are still trash. They take away everyone’s rights and they cry cus someone put colors on a beer can. Can’t stand snowflake behavior.

Deviations from the release policy are ruled on by the agency. You never know what you’re talking about. We get it, the slate book stinks

The slate book was fine. But most members didn’t even vote on it. lol. People here literally said local natca was on board with the plan. So which one was it.
