Sweet links bro. I don't have to pretend about anything to believe there is too much bloat at the top of the military. Which most of us who have worn the uniform can tell you there are too many ranks period, and not everyone should be in a leadership position. That's why the whole rank structure needs to be reformed for a modern military

Can only speak for the Air Force but Colonels (O6) were not flagged. Brig Gens were the lowest of the flag officers (O7). I would imagine the other branches do the same. Things might have changed in the last 15 years though.

Yes ive personally seen O6 that have billets where they get a flag (base commanders filling a brigadier generals role), anyway this thing is sidetracked already, too many high ranking officers period was my point.

the military has gone totally WOKE stop simping for these assholes. they wont even apologize for the Kabul fiasco that got 13 blue collar American kids blown into a million pieces of meat at the KAbul airport. For those like TangoBearFox blissfully unaware with how the military operates, that’s how senior military leaders become even more senior military leaders. They take something absolutely zero people have issue with and decide to make it their personal problem to resolve. Then they write themselves up for an award and boom promotion.

Unfortunately, these are the issues Mr. Tubberville is holding up 😢 The sooner he caves to the mob, the sooner we can get back to addressing the real issues plaguing our military. Like removing ‘man’ from ranks and ratings. Next, they’ll come after ‘chief’ to complete the woke cycle.
