It seems that that may be what they’re looking for. I had to send a letter explaining all my debts with proof...I have a couple discrepancies but my debt was still considered too much. I got a call from my rep and basically had to talk to her about it. Idk what your situation was but I told her the truth about mine and basically how I had accrued so much. My transition from the military among a few other personal reasons...it was nerve wracking especially since I was still over the debt limit which I believe she said was around $7500 ?! if I can remember correctly...she explained to me that she understood my personal situation but that I would have to or should call and set up some type of payment arrangements for my debts even if it was small and obviously try and remove whatever was on my record that was not correct. I’m not sure if your debt is less then $7500 or more but I’d say being honest about your situation is a +, if you can’t get them all on payment arrangements before you call or by your deadline.
