Will NATCA and the FAA extend the contract?

I’m about to jump ship to border patrol. I was thinking about it for the past year.

Santa told the FAA an extension is off the table. Not sure if they would do an extension now (the FAA), if the FAA really thinks they would route us under Trump, why would they agree to extend? So even if Dickless Daniles wants to extend, I hope the FAA tells him to fuck off, and that this goes to all or nothing pay arbitration in two years.

To tell someone they arnt the brightest because they want to do something in their life where they feel like they’re making a difference and they’ll enjoy is dumb. With my VA disability, I’d be doing alright financially. Better than most

Yeah I was thinking that earlier too. Who knows. Maybe we get lucky and we have minimal impact. Time will tell. Either way, it’s out of my control

I’m meaning in the next two months. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the trump EOs that Biden undid go back into effect week 1. Im guessing in being ordered not to negotiate would include any extensions on existing CBAs.

I'm under the impression that maybe at any time NATCA and the FAA could agree to an extension. Since Whitaker knows he's probably going to get replaced asap anyway, maybe he won't decline an offer to extend.
