TSA CBA Terminated

thought this would have been posted already.

They’re coming.

TSOs are not covered under 5 USC as public safety positions. They are not coming for us.

Pal, if a helicopter didn’t beam it straight for a commercial plane who knows where we would be right now.
So you’re complaining about the circumstances at hand that could result in something we all want? I swear you’ll say anything just to bitch in here.

Did anybody question the data &/or the methods he used to come up with his "facts and myths"? He didn't ask for my ESL (or is it ELS?).

Here's one thing I know. And I don't care WHO or WHAT says differently. My take home pay has remained unchanged since about 2016. Between taxes and ESPECIALLY health care, the amount put into my bank account every two weeks is the same. The amount taken out of my bank account though has expediently increased: mobile phone, natural gas, electric, water, sewer, garbage, auto and home insurance, child care, internet, home maintenance, HOA...up, up, up.

im with you brotha

same reason why the dems lost the presidency. they were preaching how the economy was great, how everything got so much better, etc....but it got so much worse financially for so many americans. Telling us things are great but things got much worse, and it's NATCA doing it too, gaslighting the shit out of us

The ruling upholding the FAA's actions in imposing the 2006 work rules was made by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. This court reviewed the FAA's authority under 49 USC 40122 and determined that the agency acted within its legal rights.

Sorry I have cute 90s commercial to validate these boring facts

Those rules were implemented by following the negotiation process at the time, which has since changed. They technically did nothing wrong/illegal, it was just a horseshit bad faith negotiation.

yep you're right, in 2012.
The overarching point is the intent of what they're pushing for, and that courts aren't some impenetrable shield.

Yes we should have negotiated. Full stop.

Sadly the accident at DCA would have only strengthened our negotiations and we likely would have got whatever we asked for.

The issue is Nick would have only asked for more equipment and fucked us on pay cause our union is an embarrassment to every labor union to exist.

Even if the accident doesn't happen we had and still have significant bargaining power in what our day to day job will entails. We are not normal government employees that can be fired because DOGE says so.
