Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

So I heard back from medical this morning and they needed just some additional info for a doctor visit I had years ago. No big deal there.

However I also need to get a repeat EKG done because the flight surgeon noticed a “nonspecific intraventricular conduction delay of unclear significance.” looked it up and most commonly it’s just a normal heart variant. So here’s hoping that’s all it is. I have the EKG tomorrow and will find out for sure.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

I think one or two others have said they had to do another EKG, but it didn’t really affect their timeline at all.

I just found out my medical was cleared. So just waiting on a call with a class date now. Anyone have any idea how long this should take? Not sure if I'm looking at days or weeks here. Or months....

Do you have your conditional security clearance too?

After I got the call that I was medically cleared I had a FOL the next business day. (Medical call on Friday, FOL Monday)

Just accepted 4/27, seems like people are leaning towards Kims. Is there another female in this class that needs a roommate? I’d love to room with another female if possible

When you say "medical call" did you call them to ask or did they call you to inform you that your medical has cleared?

I e-mailed that 9-avl email or whatever it is about 2 weeks after my medical and received a phone call a day or two later from the actual flight surgeon telling me I was cleared.

Does anyone have know who reviews the MMPI? I emailed the 9-agl asking for a update and they replied saying “my file is pending MMPI results” ?

Southern region.

Gotcha. Another question, for my security clearance should I contact my HR rep or Security POC?

(TOL 1/19) (EODS 2/13) (CIL 2/27) (MMPI 3/1) (SECURITY 3/7) (MedExpress 3/14) (Drug and Medical 3/21)[/QUOTE]

Contact your Security POC. Mine has been very responsive and transparent.

MMPI is medical and they grade them in order of when you took them, I was told that it hadn't been graded yet, I emailed a week later and was told that I failed only to be emailed 5 minutes later saying it was an error, and I had, in fact, passed. After that I found out it took my AME 2 weeks to submit their report, and so my file has been on the Flight Surgeon's desk since March 28th. That's all I'm waiting for at this point.

I’ve called multiple times and no answer from her which sucks. Not too desperate though. Seems like everyone is getting a call with FOL a month after they take their medical exam.
