Hey I just got a call from OKC, since you're heart about exploded we're going to need a 2nd EKG just to confirm everything is okay so they're rescinding your FOL until further notice.

I’ve called multiple times and no answer from her which sucks. Not too desperate though. Seems like everyone is getting a call with FOL a month after they take their medical exam.

As long as you're not in the WP region that seems to be the case.

Congrats! I love seeing you've gotten your FOL! Nothing better than seeing someone that's persevered through this process multiple times to make it to the acadmey.

So I have yet to receive my EODS after having my TOL received and accepted on 12/29. I'm not sure how many other people here are still in the same boat as me, but I have grown much more anxious the last couple weeks. As of a month ago the EODS' were still to be sent out until about June. Obviously I know the "plan your life as if you would normally" response, but my current situation is I am in the reserves and my unit is riding my ass about giving them some dates to go to training. I would prefer not to take up a military school seat if I would supposed to be leaving for the academy by that time and would hate to have to delay going to the academy for some training.

As far as I know I am one of the candidates that was given the rep who then left their position so don't know of the current situation with that. My question is whether or not it would be recommended to send an email or give another call and explain the situation to just get the ball rolling, or if I should just continue to sit and wait impatiently? All input is welcome and appreciated.

In the case that someome gets a TRACON track as a new hire and passes but then after certfying at a facility, they would like to transfer to a tower, what would that look like? Would that mean back to OKC?

Call them, ask them whats holding it up. many times they need a little push. there are only a few people overseeing everything for hundreds

If you get N90 you aren't transferring anywhere

I think I saw one person say they were from Washington state but the rest of us so far that I’ve seen are from NY.

I haven't recieved my EODS neither. When I called my rep (TH) last month to see what the hold up was, I was told to be patient

Is there a good housing provider thread? If not we should make one, where people are staying, or where people have stayed and why they did or didn’t like it.. Id like to save some per diem, so I’m thinking Kim’s.. but my girlfriend and our daughter will come visit me one weekend a month so then I kinda think Anatole so we have a place to ourselves.. any advice from someone whos been there before?
