Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-18-ALLN90-54212

Can someone explain the process of arriving at the facility as an AG and the transition through the ranks of D1 D2 D3 and CPC. So these people without class dates at N90 they will be working as Flight Data for one year at AG pay? Then when they get to class are their checkpoints which will clarify the ranks of D1 D2 and D3? Theres a lot of info on here about the academy and hiring process but not much about the training process at the facility.

D1 at 25% positions certified on, D2 at 50%, D3 75% CPC 100%

My initially scheduled MMPI appointment had to be rescheduled because of scheduling conflicts on the point of contact's side. I rescheduled for early January (earliest available). Sent the point of contact a reminder email today confirming our MMPI appointment. I got back an auto-responder that they aren't in office because of the govt. shutdown. What do I do?

Gonna have to wait for the government shutdown to end before you get anywhere.

Yes, I'm hoping it's resolved soon. My worry is because the 90 day CIL deadline for my application is late January. So timing is tight. I reached out to general POC and got the same auto responder. Does FAA take this into account when resuming operations with non-essential personnel?

You’re out of luck. Shoulda done a better job preventing the shutdown. ?

Nobody will be disqualified because of the shutdown...

This is good to see thanks!
I'm in the same boat as famicom, CIL deadline is late January and my MMPI scheduled yesterday obviously didn't happen.. any POC I've tried to contact has an out of office message so I didn't know what to do next.
I feel terrible for everyone working without pay over this nonsense, but this whole process was moving a bit too fast for me.. just didn't want to get an academy date before April. As long as I'm not disqualified for going over 90 days this is my best case scenario.

I've had both my clearances since mid-December and no FOL yet. Time to hurry up and wait

I talked to a few people who were verbally given a class date by HR, but they weren't able to send an actual FOL yet because the dates were so far (8+ months) out. I assume that's not you? Might be worth calling your rep and seeing if you've been slotted for a date.

Appreciate the info, didn't know they were doing that

How is that you seemingly know like half the people with TOLs in this bid? Lol

Haha. I've just exchanged PMs with a handful of people who have class dates for various reasons. I guess I'm reasonably active on here, so a couple people have messaged me asking about class dates post-shutdown and whatnot. Probably only talked with less than a dozen people, but it seems like that could actually make up a decent percentage of the total number of TOLs.
