Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Frustrating, but you should be able to get all your medical records from the VA. I believe they become the custodians. Keep your head up. Not the end of the road.
Myhealth is your best friend
HR just emailed me to let me know that because of my VA disbability, they need every damn record I ever had before they can continue reviewing my application. Service medical, personnel, va medical, psych Evals, 10 year prescription history, literally everything. I hope I can get all of that through the VA because otherwise I have no idea where to look. Pretty bummed that this feels like it could be a disqualifier.
Go there, create an account if you havent done so before, and you can literally download all of your VA medical and pharma records on a PDF and send to your POC.

Greetings all, congrats on those who received their TOLs! I was referred on December 17th, 2018 after passing the ATSA, in Pool 1. Still waiting on my TOL. Is it only Pool 2 that is receiving TOL's? Can anyone clarify this for me? Great thanks in advance.
I am pool one and a CTI grad and my status says referred but still no TOL

The benefits at least at the college I went to was that we used the same exact airspace as the academy does for enroute and tracon. We had a tower sim for terminal that used the same exact airport layout that okc uses. They put us through some pretty intense training and graded just how OKC does.

Sounds like you had ole James Tompkins 🙂

I'm not worried in that sense more worried in the sense that one of my foreign friends is still living with their parents and their parents don't know that we're friends and might start interrogating my friend if they see something in the mail lol Like an inconvenience on my friend's behalf.

Out of curiosity what's the process for this? Like would they mail every contact a questionnaire? Or just run names through databases? Or varies depending on the country/how long you've known them/other variables like that?

I'm glad none of my contacts are from hostile countries if that's going to slow things down a lot lol

Thanks for the info!
No clue how exactly it works, I don't work them or anything. I just know some about the process from previous clearance stuff. I'd imagine they'd look into databses to find out more about your contacts and may have an ally country help if your contacts are from places like the UK or Japan. I doubt foreign contacts are interviewed personally or through a questionnaire like US references are.
