I sent an email last week to the 9-AGL-AVS one asking if they actually have my MMPI-2 and medical and this is what I got this morning from them:


Your information is pending Flight Surgeon’s review. This means all required documents have been received and the Flight Surgeon is needing to review to see if a clearance can be done or if further information is needed. Your MMPI was received and no further evaluation is needed regarding this test.

I did my MMPI-2 on March 18th and Medical April 1st. Sounds like the paperwork is just in a huge pile with everyone else and it’s just a matter of time before the flight doc gets to it..

Recieved list last week. Regardless of what I get im going to accept. But is there any possible way I DONT get a FOL? I want to put my 2 weeks in today at my current job. Money and lenght of time untill I go to Facility is not an issue.

You won’t get an FOL until after you select a report date. They’ll email you letting you know where you’re going and offer you 3 start dates (you start at the beginning of a new pay period). After you select the date, you’ll get an FOL prior to that date. They Will get it to you ASAP but they’ll be trying to get the people with the soonest report date theirs first

Not giving applicants some kind of confirmation that their required documents have been received for CIL (when there is a deadline) is just going to lead to people e-mailing repeatedly for updates. Lol

Sorry to bother you again, I saw some people online saying they got lists today, just wanted to follow up on the status of my medical clearance and see if there’s any change.

And got this back

Your status shows that you have cleared medical. The next step will be ATO reaching out to you for facility assignment. It may take around 2 to 4 weeks for you to hear from them.

I've seen quite a few leave the AF and every single one said 7 days after facility list is the email saying where you're going.

I agree. Getting a confirmation email for completion of all CIL requirements would definitely ease the nerves. I'm stuck wondering if everything was submitted correctly with no issues or am I waiting on a list. Still no response from HR for a status update.

Just got a all clear awaiting facility list from ATO email. Hopefully your HR rep reaches out to you. I've found calling in the beginning of the day has been easiest to get a hold of my rep. Good luck bud

The only thing I’m waiting on is the drug test the lady from the faa said she’s waiting for the drug test office to respond and hasn’t heard from them. Any one else have this problem it’s been almost two weeks since I took it.

I'm waiting on the same thing. Usually take 3-4 weeks for everything to process from what I've heard. I'd just message your POC every week until you get the clear.

That sucks what region you in my HR has been great at replying.. I live in South West region. Hopefully you get the clear soon.

I’m in the northeast and yeah hope you do too. My medical poc has responded very quickly my hr poc not so much haha.

I got the list on Thursday and made my selections that evening. I hope I get one of my top 3 selections.
