Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

I honestly believe the individuals with no VA issues or other medical issues are the ones getting pushed through quickly. It's disheartening to see people who have finished there medicals 2-3 months after us getting class dates. All I can say is keep your head up continue with life as normal. My hunch is that we hear something by the end of the month... Hopefully.
Had all my clearances done within the first week of march, never been in the military no medical issues or even really medical history. Still waiting. Had some hiccups with the security side as most of my family is not US born so that's always a pain, but even with that I got conditionally cleared before any word from medical.

glad to see there's a few of us left. Yeah I have a 50% disability through the VA, but have submitted every possible document I could, and have not been notified I am tier 2, and don't think I will be at this point. I don't know what the record is for most time gone by since MMPI test and notification of tier 2 is, but I damn sure hope I don't break that record lol.
Did the flight surgeon look at any of your stuff?

First post here so hello guys and gals. I have been waiting since Feb for my medical clearance. I'm not tier 2. In western pacific region. It's reassuring to see there's at least a few other stragglers like us out there.

I had VA medical issues and got a class date for August 20th about a month ago. Getting cleared medically was the longest part for me and it took from Feb to do so. I literally bugged my medical point of contact religiously, and if she wouldn’t answer me I was on the phone with my HR point of contact. I was also down the VA’s throat every chance I could and I was calling everyone possible in order to pass the necessary information along. I was extremely active in the process and it was so stressful (for everyone involved I’m sure) but it got me a class date out of it. It wasn’t a fun process and I hate being the “squeaky wheel” but, from my experience in this process, that’s what it took in order to get anything done related to my VA disabilities getting cleared.

I'm doing the same now. I have emailed and called my medical POC relentlessly to get answers. She's ignored most of my emails, but she's answered a few phone calls (with no answers of course). The only reason I got a conditional security clearance was because I bothered my POC to the point she probably just gave me a clearance so I could STFU lol

I seriously felt like a dickwad for being so pushy but I wasn’t getting any answers or the proper information until I started nagging everyone. I stayed respectful because I understand that they do have lives and other people they have to take care of but I was just very adamant in making sure everything was being done because this is my career/life that our POC’s are dealing with. I didn’t want to be “that” case that you hear about that got forgotten about or lost due to communication errors.

What exactly did you say to your HR POC after your Medical POC didn't give you the answers you needed? did you rat them out? "hey my medical POC isn't answering, where am I on this?" something like that?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone for this bid who didn't clear the MMPI has finished their tier 2 evals. I've been notified mid April about being in Tier II and not have had anyone contact me. Is my medical POC the one who will email me or someone else?

Cool news regarding my Tier 2 process. Have a minimum 2.5 months before a tech gets assigned to fax my Marine Corps OMPF records to the FAA so I can get an appointment ?? so definitely going to be a long process for me. Lol
