If I could have voted against Mick I certainly would have, unfortunately that is not my Region. That being said I cannot begin to tell you how many emails I’ve sent, questions I have asked, talks I have had with people on it. Apparently I am just a shit stirrer as one FacRep pointed out to me from the Mountain Region.
I strongly disagree with these changes to NCEPT. It feels like quite a concession on NATCAs part. And the "temporary" tag makes me nervous. Hopefully it's actually really temporary. I also think the yellers on this site before today have been under appreciating the gains we've made in controller movement and how bad the old system really was in certain circumstances for the ERRing employees and the facilities that were trying to add people.

The moment people begin to accept it as the norm, it will become permanent or “improved,” mark my words. People want change? Send emails, make phone calls, get involved, and vote. Have these discussions around the facility, stop the bullshitting, get up and do something about it.

This is another part of the horrors of NCEPT, I’ve seen it ruin friendships, cause military vets to all backstab each other to try to leapfrog and get our, etc.....

The man is takes full ownership of NATCA's involvement with NCEPT. He talks like a total thug, isn't very intelligent, and doesn't even understand the issues that a significant percentage of the people he's representing have with the transfer policy. It's one fool representing thousands of your brothers and sisters and he's got the FAA's **** so far down his throat he can barely articulate a sentence.

This sounds like it's going to suck. I won the lottery and got my home facility right out of the academy. But after 2 downgrades and a consolidation it's all gone to hell so I want to get out and these new rules make it sound very difficult. My only consolation is that I'm on a much higher pay scale, but at this point in my life money isn't everything.

The funny thing is people voted for Mick because they thought Robey was part of "the swamp." Now that it turns out he's out of his depth, all the Zilonis people are acting like they knew this would happen. What timeline was that?
I've defended NCEPT in the past because while it was bad for few, it overall produced much more movement and had actual guidelines, unlike the old system. The changes are terrible. They're crippling to movement, but even if they were good it was obviously negotiated by a donut. There's no built in expiration for the "temporary" changes. Instead of having to negotiate to continue them, now we have to negotiate to end them.
What is with all the case by case and extenuating circumstances bullshit? Are we supposed to submit a narrative with ERR paperwork?
Also, deleting posts continues to be a joke. Everyone here is an adult. Need to use PC language, I don't even do that on the recorded line
