I meaaaan, we go back to the age old 'if there's no proof how could they know' thing when it comes to pot right? I mean unless you got paper trail or something of that sort or just went ham on the smoking

Deliberately falsifying/omitting information on an SF86 is a felony with a max penalty of 5 years in Federal prison. The FAA has ways of finding stuff out. Lying on those forms is a pretty damn big gamble. Worst case on being honest, you miss out on this one job. Worst case in lying, you to to prison and your life is effectively ruined.

Has anyone else still not gotten anything since their Tol confirmation receipt?
I too have not gotten anything since my TOL confirmation receipt, and that's perfectly normal. They're spreading out EODS/CIL delivery so as not to overwhelm the medical/psych/background processors. I've heard it can take months from TOL acceptance before receiving EODS/CIL.

Yes, the faa has ways of finding out about the weed you smoked in your apartment 9 months ago /s

Fuck. I took it for 6 months. Got off it in March.....

You'll be fine if its been since march. I took it also and called just to clarify since I got off it more recently and they said if you're still on it, or if you took it within the last two weeks you will need a statement from the physician indicating that you are symptom free and a few other things.

I see terminal/enroute on the class dates, is TRACON a third category?

I also see it has ATC Basics in front of it too.

How is TRACON involved?

READ the FREAKING FAQ... and learn to do some research on your own. This is not a new question. Very few questions are new questions, especially regarding the hiring process. You're going to have to do a lot of self-studying if you get hired, may as well start now.
TERMINAL: Assignments are level 7 or below facilities. Infrequently, Level 8 facilities may be offered.

There are no standalone TRACONs that are level 7/8 or lower, so you won't be getting one unless you applied to the N90-specific bid (and god help you if so). If you get an up/down, you'll go back to the academy for RTF (the TRACON class) after you certify on local at your facility.

Sorry, but where does it say that in that page?

"What is TETRA?
An acronym for Ten-Eleven-Twelve Radar Assessment. This is an acadmey class for those going to 10-12 TRACONs (N90 specifically, so far in 2018). New hires have job jeporady, but failures may be retained."

I CTRL+F'd though the entire FAQ and that was the only thing regarding TRACONs I could find.

Very rarely will the FAA send OTS hires for TRACON or better know as RTF class. I know of that happening once in the last 5 years, and that’s because a old classmate of mines got selected for a Open Source Bid and was sent to a RTF class. So don’t even worry about being sent to a RTF, TSEW, or TETRA during this open source bid. Only people going RTF, TSEW, and TETRA are open source N90 bid.

Actually there are 4 stand alone level 8 tracons. A11, R90, U90, and Y90.

Good deal. Thanks for the info!

Bruh.. the FAA isn’t Baskin Robbins. They can’t find out what you don’t tell them if there’s no paper trail...

The husband and I just took our medicals, so we are officially done with everything! Now just waiting to get an email (hopefully saying we are being offered a class date. Lol)

Just curious, do y'all being a couple mean anything to the FAA?

Has anyone still not received anything since the TOL confirmation email?
I got my confirmation on the 19th, rep is CG, still haven’t heard anything back. I don’t know when it would be a reasonable time to email/call and ask about it. For now I’m still just hanging tight.
