Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Just got a confirmation that my updates we received from my "friendly reminder" (submitted Monday). Since I finished everything, waiting to hear back about an FOL or to know if I've failed anything has been the most nerve-racking part of the process yet.
Yep, got that too this morning. I almost would rather they just not say anything so I could just keep on not thinking about it. Guess we just keep on waiting

Hey guys, we email our Personnel Security Specialist for our e-QIP stuff, correct?
Yes, thats what I did

Anyone knows what happens if you fail eyesight? My AME told me that as long as I get new glasses I should be fine but I'm kinda worried that I would now be at a disadvantage in some way?

Eyesight is literally the easiest thing to fix on the medical, you'll just have a slight delay with taking the AME again and have the flight surgeon review your file again.

Unless you have some degenerative eye disease he found you'll be fine

I got my CIL today. I am trying to schedule my MMPI-2. There isn't a primary proctor listed for the nearest airport near me but there are 4 phone numbers. Should I contact the nearest airport with a primary proctor listed or try to contact the airport nearest to me that doesn't say "primary?" The CIL says to ensure you are contacting the primary proctor. So I am unsure what to do. Any suggestions?

As someone who failed eyesight a few days ago was hoping I could get away with a signed note from optometrist, since the AME was kind of an asshole lol, but I'll suck it up.

If you have to re-take medical does that mean you have to re-do drug test as well?

Do what it says. Not that complicated.

START DAAAAAATE!!! JAN. 24th. En Route!!!!
Just got my class date! February 19th (En Route)

You guys most likely have the same POC?

Also, from what I've seen with peoples time frames, 2 weeks from the time you finished your CIL seems like a decent bet. OBVIOUSLY NOT DEFINITE, but a ballpark. I finished mine 10 days ago so fingers crossed

I hope you're right! Tomorrow is 2 weeks for me... I would *LOVE* to know that the end is for sure in sight from my current job.
