Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ATCEXP-63736

Anyone know of people starting while on terminal? Not sure if there have been special cases where they allowed that. I know that it is allowed under the U.S. code 5534a but not sure if the FAA regulates it.

I don't think they are used to running into it, you were supposed to be seperated within 120 days of the posting which would be mid Jan. I would just ask for a start date after your terminal to be safe.

Yeah I wasn't thrilled about that list so I'm kind of glad it didn't clear this week but hoping soon. The waiting game sucks will be glad when I have a facility and start date.
Same, but once you are cleared and pending facility assignment there’s a lot of weight off your shoulders.

You don’t have to be separated within 120 days you just have to be available. Tons of people I know have started while on terminal.

ive seen one person get FXE through their list and one transfer to FXE from somewhere else. Both in February, do you happen to know what are the chances I’d get it, based on their staffing needs/etc?

If I could I'd charge you for it lol. No idea man I don't think even the FAA knows, it's all numbers run by some mythical algorithm.
