Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Well for what it's worth...from what I've been told, you statistically have a better shot at passing than I do. Blank slate and whatnot, more receptive to new perspectives.

It's a 50/50, money and magic.

For real though, how did you end up signing up for ATC? I knew about it because I was around aviation my whole life. How did you hear of the opening?

Breaking Bad and that reddit thread that's posted every time the bid opens. Also a woman I went on a date with was an ATC.

Not a big deal really.

I hope so... I just didn't want to wait an unknown amount of time for my non communicating security POC. At least theres not much on my history that they need to look at

What happened? :(

What happened? :(

Not sure exactly why, they haven't told me, but id guess either because of drug use from like 7 years ago or from a failed polygraph exam I probably shouldn't even have listed from the DHS. Besides that I have no criminal history, no missed payments in 10 years of credit, and perfect work history.

What was your drug use like 7 years ago?

My boyfriend got an email yesterday saying his medical was cleared, and today he got an email from his HR POC saying all of his clearances passed.

"We have received all of your clearances, and you are currently pending a class date. Due to the current situation, we are not able to fill class seats at this time. Once we are able to start filling classes, I'll reach out to you via e-mail with a class date. Hopefully we can resume filling classes within a couple of weeks"

His HR rep is CG.

Well nice to know they're still working at least.

I have CG I got the same email like 3 weeks ago. Reach out to her today and she told me it would be 2 weeks to a month before we get a date due to the virus and rescheduling dates. They cant give new dates until they reschedule others.

That's fine with me, I just would like to know that I have all my clearances. I was told on Jan 13th that I only needed my medical clearance and i'm still waiting.

FYI, “Due to the current COVID-19 situation, no one will be held to any timelines regarding clearances, at this time. Most folks are unable to complete their clearances due to closures, so you will not be held to a specific timeline right now.”

Has anyone else heard this? I'm in the processing of completing my medical clearance, and my doctor who was to fill out the "current status" form from a past medical condition I had cancelled my appointment due to the current situation. I clearly won't be able to get it back to them within the 30 days they initially requested, and just wanted some more reassurace.

4/10 class date delayed

Does anyone know the latest class date that people have signed FOLs for?

The rep I got off the phone with told me that they're likely to be adding people who's classes were delayed to whatever classes have spots left and the dates that haven't been confirmed/signed for yet.
