are these class dates ones that people have already been given? If so, does that mean if my HR rep were to call today and offer me a class date that the date wouldn’t be til after 12/28/2020 at the the earliest

These classes are specifically for people who have already completed basics online or in-person. If you haven't then these won't apply for a long time.

If you haven't even onboarded yet you have a long wait ahead of you imo

Starts 2020-07-06 and ends 2020-08-07.
That is the only class date that is only a month long.

That seems right. It’s pretty nice to be starting over in my opinion. Nonradar is one of those things that you can get significantly better at with more time and practice.

that is a weird dichotomy for sure. I don't think facility training is going to restart until at least Jul 15. in this Covid hibernation did you lose your fast ball do u think? Youre gonna be that D-side that's all like... "excuse me Radar...ummm...should I call _____ sector & get control!? Do u want me to point out so and so???" lol & they gonna be like leave me alone kid!

What do you mean m8. I’m a career d side at this point. Maintain 2000 and released. All day every day.

16 is the highest I've read/seen in the thread so far. And in reference to your earlier question, there's a massive bottleneck in the system from cancelling academy halfway means there's already a 4 month backlog of classes that they have to get through. (in addition to the people after that that signed up for online basics).

This means there's already "6 months" worth of students (and increasing with each new online basics class) if that makes sense. Of course they can accelerate by merging classes but from what I've read it's not happening.

My (uneducated) guess is that anyone who receives a class date by now will go to academy in 2021.

I don’t think the academy was running at peak 2 shift capacity before the shutdown. But I could be wrong. Good luck getting the remotes to come back.
