Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

All trainees in the faa have iPads now. I wonder if you’ll just keep them the whole way
Issued in OKC and you keep them throughout your FAA career. Once you get to your facility the “ownership” is transferred to the facility.

From July 2019 to Aug 2020 I refreshed my email daily waiting for that sweet FOL to sign. I have spent months practicing the legendary tactic "hurry up and wait" and now I am beyond excited to show my mastery of this craft.

DR. DISRESPECT!! Yooo the 2x back to back IS HERE!! I knew flight simulator would inspire you ?

The Doc is here. Even though I have a rogue trainer and supervisor trying to bring me down. Im on top of the world, and im only halfway up!

14/14 passed terminal basics today. We were split up and given January 6th, 21st, and 26th Academy class dates (seemed to be based alphabetically by last name). Until then we are doing a reoccurring two week course(s?).

When was your onboarding date, and when did you start basics?

I hope this question does come off the wrong way but how does it work taking leave after you complete the academy and go to your assigned facility? The reason I ask is that I’m supposed to get married in June of 2021. If I onboard on September 14th then hopefully I make it through the academy before June but would it be an issue if not even 2-3 months into my facility that I would take a couple days off around that time?

And yes I know I still have a long way to go before then and should focus on passing the academy (which I already do). This is just a question about a hypothetical scenario. So does anyone have any insight?

Nobody will deny you leave to get married. If anything they will bend over backwards to accommodate your request. The fact that you are even asking the question in a defensive way shows that you won't be an entitled jerk. They will make fun of you and tell you its not worth it, but even the coldest hearted sups and trainers will let you have proper leave for a major life vent.

With the current timeline you might not even make it to the academy before June

Yeah that’s also something to factor in as well. I would honestly be surprised if it took that long to get through but hey anything can happen at this point so I gotta prepare for everything.

I appreciate the insight. Just donated 1000 bits your way
