All trainees in the faa have iPads now. I wonder if you’ll just keep them the whole way
That makes sense to me. Like how they take care of issuing PIVs at the Academy too.All trainees in the faa have iPads now. I wonder if you’ll just keep them the whole way
Issued in OKC and you keep them throughout your FAA career. Once you get to your facility the “ownership” is transferred to the facility. All trainees in the faa have iPads now. I wonder if you’ll just keep them the whole way
Where you can throw it in the stack and never charge it againIssued in OKC and you keep them throughout your FAA career. Once you get to your facility the “ownership” is transferred to the facility.

14/14 passed terminal basics today. We were split up and given January 6th, 21st, and 26th Academy class dates (seemed to be based alphabetically by last name). Until then we are doing a reoccurring two week course(s?).
I hope this question does come off the wrong way but how does it work taking leave after you complete the academy and go to your assigned facility? The reason I ask is that I’m supposed to get married in June of 2021. If I onboard on September 14th then hopefully I make it through the academy before June but would it be an issue if not even 2-3 months into my facility that I would take a couple days off around that time?
And yes I know I still have a long way to go before then and should focus on passing the academy (which I already do). This is just a question about a hypothetical scenario. So does anyone have any insight?

Yeah that’s also something to factor in as well. I would honestly be surprised if it took that long to get through but hey anything can happen at this point so I gotta prepare for everything. With the current timeline you might not even make it to the academy before June
I appreciate the insight. Just donated 1000 bits your wayNobody will deny you leave to get married. If anything they will bend over backwards to accommodate your request. The fact that you are even asking the question in a defensive way shows that you won't be an entitled jerk. They will make fun of you and tell you its not worth it, but even the coldest hearted sups and trainers will let you have proper leave for a major life vent.
Thanks but I bang out my fiancée enoughAll trainee leave is approved unless your actively in a class. Leave at the academy is almost impossible but you could always just bang out
You guys still bang? This story is fakeThanks but I bang out my fiancée enough
