I'm at a 6 with a 2004 VW Jetta 2.0 with pushpins holding the headliner up. Wife drives a 2013 Town and country. The fanciest car we have in our lot is an Alpha Romeo.
They’re making another roadsterI wish Tesla remade the original roadster, I’d love a two door sporty electric that didn’t cost 250,000
But it cost 250k, and I don’t work at a centerThey’re making another roadster
There was a previous forum all about this but I had the same experience, expected to see all high end cars and about 10-15% were real jems but the rest of the lot matched what you would see at the mall or department store. I felt like a bit of a ass showing up on AG pay with a used Benz SUV I had bought a couple years prior at my old job.Bit of an off question, curious what kind of vehicles the CPC's on here drive? When I showed up to my Z where CPC's make well over 100k/yr I expected to see more luxury/high end vehicles. Obviously not everyone in the building is a CPC, and not everyone on here is at a Z, but the parking lot just didn't match with my assumptions. Clearly there is nothing wrong with driving any vehicle of your choosing, nor does everyone care about driving a "fancy" vehicle and maybe I am willing to spend more than others on a depreciating object than others.
Then just get a lotus and do a swap ?But it cost 250k, and I don’t work at a center
Rather get an old mustang and do a swapThen just get a lotus and do a swap ?
Yeah I imagine few people daily drive their super nice carsAt my Z it’s a lot of economical cars mixed with trucks, a few goodies but more cars that make you say “soccer mom”. Although maybe the fun ones aren’t the commuter cars
Buy that furlough protection!Anyone get that pat on the back postcard from NATCA
L11 tower, I drive a 1994 GMC C1500. Bought it off my brother for $1500, has 150k miles on it. I've had it for 5 years, put maybe $2500 into it in mx costs. Thing will probably go for another 100k miles. It dumps exhaust into the cab when I'm sitting at a red light so I like it cuz it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.Bit of an off question, curious what kind of vehicles the CPC's on here drive?
Mnsalty literally in shambles right nowBuy that furlough protection!
Yea, some people are perfectly happy with a vehicle that moves and isn't on flames. I've known people who need a new vehicle every year or two. I was completely expecting to roll up to the center and see nothing but sports cars and luxury SUV's when I got there based off of the known income of a majority of the employees. Guess that's what I get for being presumptuous.L11 tower, I drive a 1994 GMC C1500. Bought it off my brother for $1500, has 150k miles on it. However you wanna spend your discretionary income is all you, my wife is "I wanna drive nothing but Mercedes" but I'm more of a pragmatist, I don't give a shit what I drive if it gets me from point A to point B...($1500 + 2500)÷(365×5) = just over $2 a day by my count. I'd rather spend my money on a new kitchen or vacations or whatever. Gotta keep the wife happy though so I'm leasing a Benz CLA for her for like $400/mo. So much for my being cheap lol.
I've missed training I need 32below to start back up2015 Infiniti Q40 as a daily and I have a mildly modded 2019 5.0 That I use for the weekends or take to work about once a week. A Porsche 911 is next on my list. But that’s gonna take some time. Especially since there’s no OT haha
