That's an extremely poor comparison to my right to life and the ability to defend it.
This is the problem with the 2nd amendment. Anytime you even try to have a discussion with people who hold a very conservative view of it you somehow are threatening their lives. Most people don’t hold this view on the 2nd amendment and being this belligerent about it doesn’t endear your cause to anyone.

You don’t have to convince me. I’m not trying to take your guns away, I’ve already said I like guns. But when you try to turn them into some life or death issue like that you remove the ability to have any productive discussion about it.

D21 and DTW do. They park in the airport parking ramp. Are you sure APA doesn't? That goofy roundabout set up I thought they parked under the building. Does BJC? I feel like I went on a FAM trip and parked under a carport
APA is just parking lots. No garage or underground parking. Second busiest airport, per capita, behind TEB and they don’t get covered parking. SAD. No covered parking that I’ve seen at BJC either, but I’ve never toured their tower and only visited Signature once.

This post brought to you by: Communism!

I view the whole Wisconsin situation as basically a barfight turned deadly. A bunch of tools doing shit they didn't need to be doing and escalating until someone died. And for some reason we're giving it national attention and we're mad about it.
Honestly, if it hadn't been a story about a conservative douche killing people at a BLM protest, it would have been a story about BLM prick rioters murdering a conservative teen.
He's gonna walk and because we paid attention to him, he's gonna get a book deal too.

America's lesson: be a douche, you'll become famous.

No covered parking at MSP/M98 either. ?‍♂️

Well that's literally the point of it, there is no other reason for the 2nd Amendement other than self protection.

What do you expect weapons to be used for?

Do you believe there aren’t background checks when purchasing a firearm?
Some states are cash and carry at gun shows. Check i.d. for age, pay cash, carry it out. I'm not sure where the background check occurs, but based on your time I'm sure you'll tell me.

NY Times "journalists" should get a background check before practicing the 1st amendment. Fakenews is a hell of a lot more dangerous. Infowars rage.

The commercial sale of firearms requires background checks, you're asking the federal government to regulate private transfers between citizens.

So...as long as we set up a website that has no legitimate authority for background checks...we're good?

The problem many of us have with banning a type of firearm is It’s a slippery slope that could lead to the confiscation of more types. For instance, according to the FBI rifles are used in about 400 homicides per year. AR-15s only make up a small percentage of those. For reference, knives and sharp objects usually acount for 4x as many deaths per year (~1600 homicides). Handguns are used in over 7,000 per year. So if AR15s are confiscated and people are still getting mowed down by handguns, wouldn’t the next obvious legislation be “Well the AR15 ban isn’t stopping people from dying so maybe we should ban xxxx”. I understand the argument that AR15s can kill many people in a short amount of time, but so can pistols or shotguns.
