Well, I’m loving it and wish we can stay 5/5 permanentl...best gift the FAA has ever given me
We’re losing ours next month. Ncept keeps taking bodies and we can’t replace them haha.

Well that's literally the point of it, there is no other reason for the 2nd Amendement other than self protection.

What do you expect weapons to be used for?

the purpose of the 2ns amendment as originally written was because the US kept a small standing army and relied on local militia which required its members to supply their own firearms and equipment. The 2nd gave everyone the right to own firearms to form the basis of the well regulated militias.

The problem many of us have with banning a type of firearm is It’s a slippery slope that could lead to the confiscation of more types.

We already ban civilians owning some types of arms. You can't go out tomorrow and buy yourself a fully loaded F-16 or a Minuteman III ICBM, right? So obviously there's a line somewhere, as others have pointed out. If it's a "slippery slope" we're already on it. The discussion is about where we want the line to be.

Some states are cash and carry at gun shows. Check i.d. for age, pay cash, carry it out. I'm not sure where the background check occurs, but based on your time I'm sure you'll tell me.
Sure, I’ll take the bait. Like Shikaka said, the ever popular “gun show loophole” involves the private sale or transfer of firearms between individuals. It is still illegal to privately transfer a firearm to someone who could not pass a background check. When you purchase a firearm from a vendor at a gun show, or from a gun store, or a Walmart, etc, you have to fill out the FBI form and state that you don’t have any felonies or other history that would prevent you from owning a firearm. Those check boxes are not the “background check.” Info on your form, matched with your identification, is plugged into the FBI system and checked with your answers. Lying on the form alone is grounds for a federal firearms violation.
Are there flaws? Sure. HIPAA doesn’t allow mental health records to be added to the background checks. But then we’re talking about a whole other topic of privacy violations, or politicians being able to decide what disqualifies someone from gun ownership. And that all comes back around to say that it’s a lot easier said than done to change legislation, especially those granted to us in the constitution/bill of rights.

Ah, so he likes him some Civ? 1v1 with Gandhi?
I make it my mission every time I play Civ to kill him first. One of my most memorable games involves being buddy-buddy with him and while I was wiping the map with Caesar, he dropped like 5 nukes on me...

I tend to play mostly strategy games with a few FPS, also World of Warcraft.
