Well, you might not feel like it but shall not be infringed is not a complicated idea. California bans basically everything and it’s going to get overturned in court. When you ban the majority of firearms and common accessories you’re infringing on a right.

there are republicans who should have to answer for their shitty records on guns. Reagan, for signing FOPA without a signing statement, GHWB for the 1989 import ban, etc, but the democrats are far worse for guns. The reason there were not gun laws passed under Obama was the one 2 year portion he had the house and senate, he used all the political Capitol for health care. After that, congressional republicans blocked democratic attempts to pass gun control. As previously stated, the Obama admins executive and administrative actions on gun rights and regulations is very, very poor.
 
If you think the second is obsolete then I guess the first is obsolete also. I guess the first amendment doesn’t apply to phones and TV and the government should control that. They kinda already do. Oh and the 4th, the government should be about to search your vehicle at any time cause you know.... it’s All obsolete. Let’s just start over and see what side comes on top. I can’t wait till the FAA is privatized

no, see it doesn’t work like that. It’s possible to consider 1 amendment good and another one not as good. That’s why the whole amendment process exists. It’s not a hard concept to grasp. But yeah, I think the constitution is in desperate need of an update for the 21st century. I think things like data privacy should be an amendment.

Ah. You’re correct. $54/paycheck. I have FEPBLUE, single person. Went to the doctor for an annual physical and bloodwork, no copay. Easily the most affordable healthcare I could ask for.

I don’t think it needs an update. The principles of privacy should apply to everything, but among other things the courts have basically ignored the 10th amendment (any power Or right not specifically enumerated to the fedgov belongs to the states and to the people). At this point I highly doubt any rights lost would be suddenly restored, even with an amendment

You hit the nail on the head here with this last sentence. Once something is removed will it be seldom restored. If you give a mouse a cookie... This applies to everything because at some point it will never be enough for a select group of people. They will always want to institute more and more control, even influence your life in every way possible to assure you that they have your best interests at heart.

Gun confiscations if you don’t pay a $200 tax on said guns or 10+ round magazines are literally part of his platform. No DNC-chosen Democratic presidential candidate has ever ran on such an extreme stance before. The threat is demonstrably real this year, whereas before it was only an assumed threat.

Why are you ignoring the actual stances of Biden?
