Just to be clear, Biden’s stance and endorsement of the Giffords plan applies only to assault weapons, yes? There is a world of guns that wouldn’t fall under this plan at all.

Trump stooges telling bold face lies about his health straight to the nation when he’s potentially incapacitated. Someone in that White House needs to grow some balls and tell the public what is going on. How the hell does anyone still support this guy? Because I don’t believe any schlub should just be able to walk in and buy a gun without a fair amount of training and testing, having to be licensed, their weapon being registered, and the types of weapons being regulated, and a much more rigorous enforcement of many existing gun laws.

Yeah the foundations are great but basing modern society off of a document that's over 200 years old isn't going to cut it. Most of the topics up for discussion today aren't even comprehensible to a person from 200+ years ago.

Amendments are great but they take time.

If you believe the foundations of the constitution don't need to be re-evaluated, you'd probably be in the Antebellum period at latest. With amendments, MAYBE 1900s at the latest.

You need politicians to represents your interests (as flawed as many of them are) because the world is evolving faster than we can update the Constitution (das why we vote!!!!!)
The alternative is basically dissolving the US government and starting over lol

The constitution outlines the LIMITS of government power, not their powers. The Bill of Rights tells the government the rights the government has no power to take away or limit.
I don’t advocate tearing it down, because that sets a dangerous precedent for what the US government can do if they don’t like what is in it, or if it doesn’t suit THEIR best interests. Again, as a baseline document, it is air right. Eliminating the second amendment because guns can be circulated illegally, stolen, etc, is absolutely asinine and there will be FAR reaching consequences that people aren’t considering.

Hey if eating healthier was more affordable I definitely would. That’s one of the biggest health crisis in America tho - it’s cheap to be fat. That $9.99 Costco pizza feeds me and my wife for a whole weekend. I go to the farmer’s market down the road and 2 avocados are $10.

Bag of rice, a few chicken breast and the problems solved. Potatoes are also pretty cheap as well. I’d wager the health crisis is due to laziness and the lack of know how to actually cook anything.

That’s too much effort for me but certainly doable. Depending on location a vegetable garden is also very doable as well.

Ive seriously cut back on eating out during the pandemic and it’s saved me so much money. I just buy mega packs of chicken breast and marinate them then grill them and package them up to take to work. Have an instant pot that I make a shit load of rice in and just take that. It’s boring but it’s super cheap and not unhealthy.

We had 15 cpcs bid last year and Saturday/Sunday fell to #8. I would consider that pretty unusual but some people love their Sunday pay.
