That may be accurate, the people I know did drop significant $ for their trips.My experience with TX hunting is unless you have access to private land, which for such a big state the huntable public land access is awful, it's not good.
That's a sample size of one though. But Ya if you have dollars to buy in on a hunt or access to land it's pretty good is my understanding, that was not my case though when I was there.
