Anybody not get EODS but get a CIL?

Reporting in. Just received my CIL a few minutes ago. Wasn't expecting anything this week due to Thanksgiving. Exciting.

It might suck but if you guys are having issues locally finding a place to do finger prints, mmpi, drug screen ect expand your search radius and make a trip out of it.

Was given a link to a site that has a 537 MMPI- 2 test and a way to calcucate it for free? Not sure if anyone else would find it helpful.

This is a good way to end up in Tier 2 purgatory.

Back in the summer, I had to schedule the ATSA out of state. So I booked a hotel, packed some clothes, and prepared my cat to be home alone for a few days. Then about an hour before I was going to head out, the test center closed, and I had to reschedule.

Then this month, I scheduled for the MMPI-2 a week ago for a location several hours away from home. I have a relative who lives close to there, so I decided to stay at his place the night before. Then about an hour before I was gonna go to bed, I got a call saying that the test had to be cancelled.

Now I may just be paranoid, but I'm beginning to suspect that the ability to deal with complications during the hiring process, is part of the hiring process.

At least you're able to schedule it haha. The 3 closest contacts for me aren't pickup to my calls or responding to my emails. Thanksigving week will cut about half the time I need to finish these appointments.

I had a similar experience for the ATSA. I traveled 3 hours the night before to take it and then once I got there, I was told it was cancelled. So I rescheduled it not knowing when or if we’d actually get to test again, and drove 8 hours and got a hotel for that one and just prayed that one didn’t get cancelled either. I lucked out and got to take it that time. So thankful I decided to go with my gut and make the trip instead of waiting for the second round of ATSAs

The next day when i actually chose my date, every center was closed except for a center 4 hours away. I chose the closest date and was so grateful after hearing a lot of people couldnt test. There's probably going to be a bit of finessing to get all of the paperwork done for CIL's too. More trips in store, yay.

Luckily my medical is scheduled and I’m able to get in for my mmpi as long as they don’t stop it due to covid. Haven’t gotten the directions to schedule my drug test yet so here’s hoping that one goes smoothly ??

Have you checked with sheriff's offices, jail, or highway patrol? My local PDs aren't doing it but the county buildings are. I paid $6 bucks per card and it was quick since I got there early.

I have it scheduled at the sheriff’s office a couple counties over. My county’s machine is down, another county has no appointments until June 2021 (?) and so it’s been a pain to say the least lol I’m just glad I finally found a place to do them!

Still waiting on my security email, but if I already have actual fingerprints in the dps system which i have an ivp fingerprint clearance card since i work with few schools that require it am i able to get a copy of them and use it or do i just have to do it again either way?

question on the CIL email it says to upload the 306 and 1631 to que eqip questions. Can i electronically fill out those forms? on the 306 it says sign with ink, so we print it fill it out and scan it?

Mine specifically states "Print, complete, and sign... 1631 (attached). Once completed, please scan and email to..."
