I just called HR, asked for and was offered August 20th for enroute basics. I'm from the March 2015 bid and I assume I'm one of the last stragglers. Needless to say I'm stoked.

I know probably not many others yet, but I have set up for Kim's and know of at least one other who is set up for Kim's with the same class.

Accepted this class date today. Anyone know of a good place to stay with a dog?
I went through FAArooms.com and stayed at Anatole with my wife and dog. Lived on the north side of the complex and it was nice to have access to their bark park that’s over there. Super close to the academy too. I started enroute basics in November 2018 and the folks at FAA rooms were flexible with letting me and my family stay during the government shutdown which was a nice perk.

We are a pet friendly property! 15 minutes from the academy, direct non-stop shuttle services provided, and we have single housing options available if you don't want a roommate. Plus complimentary breakfast everyday and daily housekeeping services.

Why would you stay at IB? Stay FAR from IB. Kim’s or Anatole. Seriously.
Oh no yeah for sure, after looking more into it I decided not to go that route, yikes! I was originally tempted by the free food but they don't even do that any more and it was pretty sketchy looking. I'm staying at the Anatole bc I have to bring my family with me, otherwise I'd do Kim's

Yeah, the FAA doesn’t endorse IB anymore. They took away all their services. Plus, now that you can’t pocket the remainder of the housing per diem, it doesn’t make sense to go to a “cheaper” option. I live at Anatole and it’s a solid spot. One of the guys in my class lives at Anatole with his family and they’re enjoying it also. Best of luck!
