Any info on how the AT Basics course is? Any sources of information or PDF files to help study for the final? Pass/Fail rates for the basics course? I know 2 failed out of basics just today at the academy.

There are like 5 or 6 practice tests before the final. If you are passing those you’ll be fine.

Do basics test scores carry over to your Terminal or EnRoute scores to average the ranking in class? Or is ranking for placement is only for the latter?

Basics does not carry over. You start with a fresh slate. Map test is the first score that counts towards your class ranking.

mikeh89 bro basics is the easiest shit ever. Don’t even sweat it. And don’t buy any study guides for it on here either. Basics is literally a joke compared to across the street. Anyone who fails basics either has the iq of a potato or just flat out didn’t try.

Mikeh89 - I second this. Don’t worry so much about getting study guides, or anything else. They give you all the information you need. Just study the books they give you, pay attention in class, you’ll be fine. The only way you don’t make it through basics is if you literally put forth 0 effort. Of course it comes with a little bit of anxiety knowing you need to pass basics to get across the street but it is nothing to worry about(whether you’re cti/military/ots).
