Academy Trainees Just Got a 30% Pay Raise

I don't necessarily care whether it can or can't be done right now, my issue is that it's not being talked about. Its not for discussion, when it should be something we constantly talked about. It should be brought up at every opportunity whether people think we can or can't get it. Playing dumb because we think we cant get it just kills the opportunity without attempt. I and I assume many others, would be content with our Union trying...just attempting...
Yea I don't think anyone is against discussing pay at all, regardless of contract status.
My problem is this, when the administration blamed DEI practices for the staffing or controlling ability or whatever Natca was everywhere saying this is a lie.

When the Admin says controllers are making 160k a year a year after checking out there’s radio silence which would imply to outsiders that’s what every controller makes
Definitely. Does anyone know what the average/median new CPC pay is?

Because he's talked about everything else except pay, he had a lawyer do a presentation about how we're paid enough, he ignores the membership regarding pay, he spends more time advocating for FAA concerns than controller concerns, he represents a slew ball more than a dues paying member.

Walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, is probably a duck. He's given no one any reason to feel like he can handle our concerns.
The hiring bids literally quote how much money we make. We aren’t getting a pay raise. Get over yourself
