En route!
I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is. An old classmate just got her class date starting 2 weeks from nowAlso, he said that the hiring freeze will affect Academy class dates (delayed, but not canceled) , but not the clearance process...
Ah gotcha. Now that I think of it I believe she applied in 2015. I'm still waiting to hear from this last opening in 2016. Trying to decide between staying where I'm at now until I hear something or applying at another Ops department up north if it's gonna end up being over a year wait. There's going to be a backlog.. That's just how the federal bureaucracy "works"... There's many moving parts and different pools, so everyone's days will differ.
Hey everyone nice to meet you. I'm a 5 point Navy Vet and just received a TOL (terminal) this morning. I understand that facility placement is dependent on class rank. What is the list called that shows terminals needing controllers and where do I find the latest and greatest version?
Thank you for the help.
Thank youcongrats, navy!
I don't think so but I don't want to give bad info. When the POC calls to schedule your appointments let them know. Have all you paperwork available to send if possible. This may be off topic but it looks like the next step after the TOL is a medical with an Aviation Medical Examiner. I'm a private pilot and hold a second class airmens medical certificate. Does anyone know if these will transfer over for ATC?

Yeah it does require ekg for the initial clearance. I think you are correct that it doesn't transfer.Doesn't the ATC medical require an EKG? I thought the standard Class II doesn't.
