Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Strange..... My letter does NOT say that. Mine says that the Registration Code is required and will come in a separate email. Then it says DO NOT RELEASE the e-QIP questionnaire UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE OBTAINED AND MAILED YOUR FINGERPRINTS.
It says nothing about the Security POC receiving the fingerprints/documents first.
The position you have applied for requires a background investigation. You MUST complete the following tasks within 10 calendar days of receiving this email:

(1) Obtain two sets of fingerprints. The SF-87 (Fingerprint Card) and instructions are attached. You may print two copies of the attached SF-87 or you can use law enforcement agency provided card (two cards) to have your prints taken. We accept “ink” or “digital/electronic” prints. If you have your fingerprints taken digitally, please ensure the agency can print them on card stock paper. Ensure all required information is completed on the card for you and fingerprinting official signs both cards. Please note you may be charged a nominal fee for the fingerprinting service and this agency will not reimburse you for any fees incurred.
(2) Print, complete, and sign the attached Disclosure and Authorization Pertaining to Consumer Reports, DOT Form 1631(attached).
(3) MAIL (FedEx/UPS/USPS) the following original forms to the Security POC listed below:
a. DOT Form 1631 [this can also be emailed]
b. Two completed fingerprint cards (ensure fingerprint cards are not bent or folded when mailing

They sent me the code to get into the E-qip website in a separate email, and I was able to go in and fill everything out, but I haven't submitted until I mail my SF-87 (fingerprints) tomorrow, like it says to do. It seems we got a seperate set of instructions it seems. You may want to email them back tomorrow and verify why they need a SF-86 from you.

No personal information
Anybody here have **** as their security POC? I tried to mail in my fingerprints but the UPS guy said he needed a physical address, the one in the email wasn’t enough he said. Anybody have the mailing address for her ? Or you guys had no problem mailing it with what was provided in the email ?

What address were you trying to mail to?

It seems that not everyone's instructions are the same so we should all just follow what we received. My email for fingerprints states"You MUST complete the following tasks within 15 calendar days". So there you go....

Mines also.

Got it thought I was the only one. Hopefully I’ll get something this week. Still missing my e-Qip and MedXpress. Trying to get that done before I fly out for vacation.

How soon after your CIL steps are finished/processed can you expect to receive a firm offer letter?

Impossible to say. It depends entirely on how long your security and medical clearances take to come back. Medical often has a backlog of candidates, so it totally depends on when they get to your file. If you're ineligible for a conditional security clearance and require the full investigation up front, that will add considerable time. And if you are Tier II'ed for any reason, that could add months or years.

Right, I understand there are variables for CIL completion. I am asking this question with the assumption all those steps are done. Is it pretty quick after everything is complete usually or does that vary too?
