Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

I just got email for Medxpress. Filled out and sent back. I'm in the Southeast

Have you completed your MMPI. I’m just wondering when I’m getting mines. Thinking since I haven’t completed the MMPI, that’s probably why they haven’t sent mines. Just speculation though.

Had my MedXpress done before I had my MMPI done. This process moves slow and in some random order. If you haven't gotten it within whatever window was on your CIL, give 'em a ring.

Yes I have completed the MMPI

Have my Medical scheduled, just waiting on MedXpress email. Got in contact to take my MMPI but have been passed around to another person who hasn't gotten back to me. Finally got the Security email and plan on setting up to get fingerprints end of this week.

Process has moved pretty fast, I'm surprised.

Yea I’m basically done with everything with the exception of my MMPI MedXpress Physical and Drug rest. MMPI is schedualed for tomorrow morning. And Physical is schedualed for early March. I just hope I receive my MedXpress info before weeks end.

Questions about the Pre-Employment questionnaire:

So "medical conditions" includes mental illness diagnoses?

For medications, do we list every little thing we've ever taken?? How do we go about tracking this down?

You won't get it before the 5 day window on your appointment. It says that on the email.

Negative ghost rider. Mines says if I don’t receive it within 5 business days of my appointment to contact them.

Yes. You need to report mental illness diagnosis. Dont lie, they will find out.

Yeah wasn't planning on hiding it lol

To get the specific date, I guess I have to track down my psychologist?

What about stuff like seeing a family doctor for headaches or the flu or whatever?

And any idea on the medication list?

Common cold I wouldnt include but use your best judgment. They want to see you lost medication such as xanax, zoloft, ritalin etc..

I guess we don't get an identical format for these emails then. I have this in red bold letters; You will receive a follow-up email from this office 5 days prior to your scheduled medical appointment with additional instructions. I guess if yours doesn't show that just to anticipate it being the same deal.

How long did the MMPI take you?
It took me about an hour and 15 minutes. They gave me 2 hours to complete but the POC told me a lot of ppl go over 2 hours and they let them complete it anyway.
Best advice I can give you is don't try to "cheat" the test, answer as honestly as possible, and don't think too much about the questions. Some questions are worded very strangely, and you'll get the same question twice but worded differently. For example, "I'm the life of the party at social gatherings." Answer true or false. A few questions later you'll get "I avoid making contact at social gatherings." Stay consistent and you'll be fine.

Yea not the same and there’s a typo on their end.

If do not receive instructions 5 days before your medical appointment or there are questions, please email to
