Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Had my MMPI this morning. Took me about 35 minutes. The test would sometimes advance to the next question as soon as I clicked yes/no, but sometimes not, so I double-jumped several questions because I was also hitting the F4 key to advance... but the system itself seemed to be working.

Heard a story from an old-timer at the facility about someone who got sent to Tier 2 because he said he heard voices in his head. His reasoning? "I hear people's voices when they talk because I have ears, and my ears are in my head..."

Lol. Well that's technically true. I got my medxpress email today and my appointment for medical is on the 28th so hopefully that all goes well. Has anyone else been having contact with their security poc at all after releasing their e-qip? I had to send in my birth certificate since it was a Consular report of birth abroad, and then a picture of my passport and today proof of my SF-50 from a previous job. I guess the security POC's try and get everything prepped for the investigators to run through as smoothly as possible, which is definitely appreciated. Can't say it's been good for my worrying though.

Who answered true to the question about playing with dolls when they were younger? I had a collection of GI Joe dolls. Lol no shame about it.

I found a version of the MMPI online a couple years ago and went through it then, and looked over the version on this site, so the questions weren't unexpected. And I've always been a fast reader. The tricky part was making sure not to get tripped up by double negatives.

Took me a little over an hour. Yes I played with dolls, cry about it! But I also answered true to if I’ve ever teased an animal, I fuck with my cats and dogs all the time purposely to annoy them a little, but only because I love them. Hopefully that doesn’t flag me as an animal rapist

Sooo I got my fingerprinting done today at a local sheriff's office. However when I got home I realized that they didnt fill out the form...and they also signed it in blue pen. Am I allowed to fill it out myself or do you think I should get it redone tomorrow?

You know you just made me go back and re-read my emails, I never got asked to submit a birth certificate or passport, did your POC ask you via email or was it on the e-qip?

They called me the past few days for stuff they needed. I had to get a new birth cert from the state department in 2013 since I couldn’t find mine after separating from the military and I don’t think I checked the correct form. If you haven’t been contacted you’re probably looking good on that end. It’s been stuff I can produce without any issue so far but now I’m in worry mode something small will cause me to have a setback. We’ll see I guess.

There seems to be quite a few inconsistencies across regions on how they get your info. I've never had anyone call me, it's all been emails. I did receive a SF180 form to fill out (I'm prior service vet), which I'm assuming EVERY prior service guy is being asked to fill out as well. Can anyone else confirm?

Vets, anyone else been asked to fill out an SF180 form? For the record I have NOT been told I have been tier 2'ed.

So for the SF87 fingerprints just print two copies on regular, white paper? They gave no details on card stock paper.
I went to the police station and had mine taken on their fingerprint cards which look identical to what was emailed to me but a lot nicer. My email didnt say anything about 2 sets so I just mailed in one set and had and extra taken just in case. I would definitely use the police stations fingerprint cards though.

Finally MedXpress emailed received. But I’m currently on a flight so can’t do anything about it. Smh

Nope, my medical POC said they only need VA records pertaining to a couple of my disabilities. I asked if they need my military medical record and was told that it takes too long to request. She told me the flight surgeon will tell her if more is required but should be good to go.

I called my POC and she told me printing them out and getting ink prints was the preferred method. So that is what I did.

The person who took my prints said it was good I left it blank until I got there. A lot of people use incorrect abbreviations for hair/eye color etc.

I used the abbreviations that were on my drivers license. I had to google the correct abbreviations for the form for race.

Anybody NOT received their security info yet? I have it as Wednesday next week is the last day before you should contact them
