For anyone who gives a shit, I sent an email to NAVY medical records department (BUMED) and asked if they had sent over my military medical records to FAA, they emailed back today and sent me a tracking number for those records. USPS says they received those docs today! #itsthesmallchecks

Had my medical appt scheduled for this afternoon until they called this morning and cancelled and wouldn't let me reschedule (Dr. will be out indefinitely). Happy Monday everyone!

Seriously though, any input on what I should do? I emailed HR and haven't heard back yet. I'm assuming I'm going to have to reschedule at the next nearest office, but does that mean I have to redo the medical worksheet and MedX form??? And my drug test is in two days, probably have to reschedule that as well now.

Same thing happened to me. I just had to email them the new Doctor and appointment time.

I would. She has answered the phone everytime I've called. Granted I've only had to call twice.

I read that if you elect to drive to OKC you'll get your mileage reimbursed up to the cost of a flight. If you have a 2 day drive will they pay for a hotel room as long as the mileage + room are still under the flight amount?

I’m assuming you mean as an academy grad? MJ’s done a nice job putting the pay scale for each facility under the “resources” tab. Just find the facility you are interested in researching and there ya go

I would, this is government we're talking about. You don't want to show up to OKC and them be like "who are you and why are you here", and all you can say is "they called but I don't have proof"

I received Medxpress exactly 5 days before appointment.

I was going out of town right before my medical appointment so I emailed medical to see if I could get MedXpress earlier than the 5 days and they gave me access
