Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Can I ask where you found that number for HR?

I'm in the same boat as you, took the ATSA in Aug for N90 and just received an email to take it again.

Any idea if I need to do anything if I don't plan on retesting? Or will my previous test results automatically be applied here?
‭(405) 954-4657‬ that’s the number. Can you also ask them whither if we should retake?

Is there any downside to taking the exam for this bid if I already took one for the N90 and get the referral list message?

I just scheduled mine also but I called PSI for a unrelated issue and they said testing 4 the bid doesnt open till the 22nd and they dont know why its letting ppl schedule b4

Is anyone more in-the-know able to confirm or deny? I have to take time off work for the test, I'd like to know now if the date I picked isn't actually available...

That's me from stuckmic lol but I originally scheduled mine on 10/12... I called this morning to to ask about second form of ID and then she told me that the testing for that bid is from 10/22-11/22 so she rescheduled mines for me. She explained it's the system allowing ppl to select earlier dates but if they show up they'll just be turned around.just to make sure call the number u get from psi in the 1st email and just follow up.

Small request for those of you who purchase the atcprep software: would you please leave a rating in the resource listing to help those who come after you decide if its worth it.
ATCPrep
Tried buying it today and had problems. Would not take my card info but everything is correct with it. Any suggestions? Already emailed support.

is it true, this year they're only taking people who score 90 and above?

Don't they just start at the top and work their way down? So if they needed to hire 1000 people and 1001 all scored above a 95 (unlikely), then they'd just take those? Similarly if the highest score out of the entire pool was a 75 (also unlikely) they'd start with that person? They don't just randomly pick from within each band, do they?

I think when they get to and pull from pool 2, I read that that's a random pull, someone correct me if i'm wrong

I think you just saw someone post this "Also worth noting, if you can’t get at least a 90 on the ATSAT, you’re probably not going to get selected for this one - the competition is going to be fierce with more CTIs in the mix than previous bids (due to eliminating BioQ) and the bar for entry will be pushed higher as a result. " . I don't think they outright say it/publish that that's what they're looking for, but it makese sense
Never heard of this but im pretty sure thats not true? who knows im prob wrong
I think nbk14 got this from someone who posted "Also worth noting, if you can’t get at least a 90 on the ATSAT, you’re probably not going to get selected for this one - the competition is going to be fierce with more CTIs in the mix than previous bids (due to eliminating BioQ) and the bar for entry will be pushed higher as a result. It's an aptitude test people. Meaning someone fresh outta highschool could beat someone who's been controlling for years. You can practice and study but at the end of the day it comes down to your own abilities. If u cant multiply and reason then give up now lol jk but yall relax
