Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

I personally sign everything electronically. I mean if you're just typing your name on the line that's kinda cheesy, but Adobe on Windows and Preview on Mac both let you create a signature (either with the mouse for Adobe or by taking a picture for Preview) and I figure that something in my own handwriting ought to be good enough for anyone. At least until I'm told otherwise. Especially because when I applied for the TSA I filled out the OF306 entirely online, the "signature" was checking a box and typing my name—I don't think the paper form is sacrosanct or anything.

Random but anybody know if it’s possible to get HCF straight out the academy?

AFAIK you can request OCONUS and you'll generally get it, at least if they need bodies, but I'm sure someone with actual knowledge will be along soon.

I filed my OF306 electronically and signed it electronically. I sent an email asking if the way it was signed was ok and HR said it all looked good

I think it's possible if you are a Hawaii resident but its definitely not an option otherwise. Even for residents I wouldn't say it's likely.
I've personally seen the OCONUS form and talked to the people at the academy that deal with this.

Does anyone knows if we are more likely to be sent to a level 12 from this bid or prior experience? Or is it just completely random
For a prior experience bid if your experience was at one of the busy military facilities then you’ll have a good chance at being offered facilities in the upper levels. I remember seeing a guy from Eglin not too long ago being offered C90, A80, and a bunch of other places.
And if you go enroute like sizziano said you’ll have bigger chance.

EDIT: and i think if you go Terminal at the academy you’ll only be given a list of level 4-7s.
