How do we pick which place is good to hopefully ERR out of? I'd love to get a higher facility sort of early while I am a youngin'.
Look on the PPT and see success rates, current Manning, and projected % of Manning is your best bet. I went to a level 7 that was projected pretty well and I was gone to a higher fac in a year

OK. Thanks man! Makes sense. Just wasn't sure how to read this Staffing page on facility posts.

It takes a long time to do but I suggest writing down the Manning (current and projected) for say your top 10 on that list and use that to help make your decision. I had a list of 16 I think. I then put the top 3 down that I would leave the DOD for. Looked at the Manning then chose the one with the best chance of getting checked out and leaving to the place I wanted. Although NCEPT was started after I was already in l, it still worked out for me

Keep in mind it’s just a preference list. Friend of mine got his 10th choice recently and I remember seeing a few people on there get their 8th, 12th, etc. While it’s good to look at the numbers, also consider places that if they say “congrats here’s your 7th choice” that it’s a place you can live with.

Every person that got out of the AF I knew got their #1, then I started reading stuff on this website and ppl are getting their like 17th or something. Wild.

Received an email, awaiting final review and signature from flight surgeon. Would that mean I was good on the MMPI or still a possibility of needing tier 2?

Now I’m curious if those still awaiting a list will have similar lists, completely different, or a mix. My best guess is the “every few weeks after today” means it gives them time to distribute facilities, check off what facilities from this list are accepted so they can scratch them off and add new facilities?

I’m not 100% sure but I think a place stays on the lists until it’s filled. It’s a couple places on the lists posted today that were on a list I got back at the end of November for the March ‘18 bid
