Appreciate it. Thanks!I got my fingerprints done at an official
Yep- I suggest finding the tower number online and calling again just to confirm though.

It is a urinalysis for both, yes.Can anyone confirm if we are getting a urine test for both the drug test and AME? I have lice and I'm considering getting my head shaved... hilarious timing I know.

Letter just showed up today. It was addressed to my direct supervisorSo does your direct supervisor not get the letter for the security clearance, instead your employer does?
I'm wondering the same thing but regarding vision.Do you only get one shot at passing the medical for the FAA? If you were to fail once, get the condition fixed/under control and reapply, would they give you a second chance to pass?
If you fail the medical portion of your clearance, you could always appeal the decision, but be prepare to wait.Do you only get one shot at passing the medical for the FAA? If you were to fail once, get the condition fixed/under control and reapply, would they give you a second chance to pass?

Good to know, my eye doc says 20/20, my medical today said 20/40 🙄If you fail the vision test you are allowed to see an eye doctor, get your vision corrected and submit documentation to prove that. The process is more complicated if you fail the color vision portion.
Not a bad program they’re offering but given the pilot shortage, Airlines should be trying to make it a lot more competitive as far as cost or deleting the cost and requiring an employment contract. JetBlue does the same thing for $20k more. SunState Aviation in Kissimmee is pretty good too since you get all your ratings in 5 months and then you get hired as an FI until you get your hours. It’s about 25-30k there.Still no CIL from CS. I'm not in a hurry since I'm waiting a response back from Southwest for their 225 Cadet Pilot Program.

I agree and that was one of the reasons I'm looking at this instead. I would gladly accept a lower starting salary and a commitment contract to waive the training fees associated. I only have a private so getting to an ATP would sting hard. Eventually they'll have to up their incentives if they want to keep their planes flying. Not a bad program they’re offering but given the pilot shortage, Airlines should be trying to make it a lot more competitive as far as cost or deleting the cost and requiring an employment contract. Negative. Only if you fail do they care.I got contacts ahead of time - do I need to bring some kind of documentation of my astigmatism level/prescription? My medical is Thursday.
