Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Got my class date this morning. Terminal 2/27
CG is my HR rep. For those who drove from the mid Atlantic region, which route is more enjoyable to drive? Going through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, or going through Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas?
congrats. There’s a thread already made for our class in the Academy Classes page. Terminal - Terminal Basics 02/27/2020
We’ve also got a Facebook group put together as well. https://m.facebook.com/groups/61117...ctivity&notif_id=1577993135329231&ref=m_notif

PSA: Your drug test kit is mailed to the facility and your name is on the bottom of the sheet that comes with the kit.

The medical staff spent a whole hour and a half looking for my drug test kit before they realized the name on the top of the sheet wasn't the name of the person getting tested. I had to pee too. Badly.

Anyone know what the timeframe is for medical/drug test to be submitted and checked off with HR? I'm sure the holidays have delayed it a bit, but I'm ready to get to work! Physical was accomplished on 18 Dec and Drug Screening done on 2 Jan.

I took both my medical and my drug test mine 12/11 and received my FOL 12/27. Your medical has probably already been looked at by the flight surgeon, but you might have to wait a lil bit as your drug test was just completed yesterday.

I did my medical on 12/19 and drug test 12/20. Even with christmas and new years, I got my class date 13 days later. I did my drug test on a friday and the guy doing the paperwork said that the lab would have the results sent out by Monday.

If anyone else failed vision on their medical like me, got a email from my medical POC with a form to give my eye doctor to fill out and submit. Not sure if that means I avoid having to take another medical exam but fingers crossed.

Yep, my email about a start date was exactly 13 days after I submitted my final thing, too. And the drug test people said they usually have results in 2 business days.

Random issue: I just got my pile of post-FOL forms to fill out on EODS, and under the required reading PDFs, the one about the Hatch Act links to a DOT website that I can't figure out how to access. Anyone else have this issue, or find a way around it, for the sake of not lying about having read it?

Didn't work for me either
This has some good info to get a better understanding of it.
The OSC who handles these things has a YouTube video with an overview as well:

Also, the OSC website has a great resource on how you can use social media in a political nature on and off the clock.

I've just started on the security portion of pre-employment. What, specifically, are you supposed to put in for the first and last space on DOT-1631? Also what do we put in for "Position to which appointed" and "Department, Bureau and duty station" on SF87? Not sure how specific to be here
