Does anyone know how much BMI matters for the medical? Looked like it was a big deal a few years back.

A huge percentage, if not the majority of controllers are overweight or obese. As long as it doesn’t lead to any other issues like high blood pressure, heart trouble, diabetes, etc. you’re good. I’m fat myself and I got my medical no problem at all. 🙂

For those that haven't received anything since the confirmation of a TOL, my POC today said many CILs will be going out this week with the last batch finishing up this month to possibly next month.

Hopefully I'm in the 'going out this week' group and not the 'possibly next month' group haha

I emailed my POC and they confirmed I was in the going out this week group. If you need it to calm your nerves, send an email. If not, just sit tight and the CILs are coming. We all want to get started ASAP but all in due time. Good luck!

I called SV who represents the southern region or south eastern region, and in the voicemail, it stated that she would be gone until January 6th. Here's hoping she gets back tomorrow.

I don't think you'll hear much. I emailed mine about something unrelated, and in her reply she also mentioned "All security requirements have been completed." I doubt you'll hear anything unless something is wrong.

How long after submitting your pre-employment questionnaire for medical did you hear back with instructions regarding any forms to bring to the AME and drug testing? Submitted a few weeks ago and haven’t received anything with my appointment coming up.

7 days prior to my appointment, I emailed them as instructed and I got my medXpress/drug test email the same day.

PSA: Your drug test kit is mailed to the facility and your name is on the bottom of the sheet that comes with the kit.

The medical staff spent a whole hour and a half looking for my drug test kit before they realized the name on the top of the sheet wasn't the name of the person getting tested. I had to pee too. Badly.

Just had this same issue at my location, and due to your post, I was able to tell them to look again at the bottom of the sheet. They looked at me like I just invented fire after they finally found my name at the bottom.

Did you make any type of appointment? I was trying to go the same day as my medical because I already took that day off, but they said they didn't do appointments

My location did walk ins. So ask them if you can just walk in and do it.

You can try calling the drug test number and give them the address of where you're getting your physical to see if that's a place they are authorized to ship a drug test kit to. I got to do my drug test and physical at the same place same day.

I had to call the number in the email due to them usually having to ship the testing supplies to wherever you want to get it done. I thought I'd be able to call and just go in the same day as medical exam, and was surprised that they had to mail something. Fortunately, they were able to get the kit there in time for me to get it done within the 5 days stated in the email. Medical last Thursday; test arrived at testing location yesterday; drug screen today.

Thanks. It's a place close to where my medical is but not the same place. They'll have the kit there by Thursday. Medical is on Monday so I'll go the same day still.

For anyone in school wondering about deferments, I called my rep today and they confirmed that they would be able to work with me until the semester is over so I assume it will be the same for everyone else. They also confirmed that the rest of the CILs should be coming out this month and next.
