I just received my CIL and I'm wondering if it is best to e-mail my POC for MMPI scheduling or call them? The list provides both e-mail and phone number but I'm not sure if calling is frowned upon or not.
I called mine and it worked better than emailing. I've also seen some post on here that emailing was the better method for them though.

So I just got my Pre-employment form and have a question about 4a. (Do you have any medical conditions, historical or current) would this be where i list any ER visits, covid status? I have no conditions currently but I was wondering if this was where i need to list and document every interaction with medical professionals.

I had to mail (2 day shipping) my transcript in. That’s probably why it’s taking more time.
My email said that if you had previously sent in your transcripts when you applied, then you don't need to resend them.

Yes, that’s where you list every interaction you’ve had with medical professionals. I had to continue in the extra space on the last page. I listed 23 visits total lol I did the best I could from memory and looking at my prescription history since 1996

Thanks man, I dont even remember some of the places I went to as a child in another state. Do you think that would be a problem?

If you don’t remember some things, I’m going to say it was probably minor so it wouldn’t matter anyway. But definitely type out everything you can possibly remember. I doubt it’ll cause problems

I emailed instead of called and they got back to me within 24 hours.

Dumb question: I noticed on our TOLs are contract date is 13 months. Is this the time spent in OKC academy? I have been told and read else where that academy is only 6-8 months.

Technically "academy student" is a temporary position, so they put down 13 months because temp positions of 12 months or less aren't eligible to earn leave, get TSP matches, other benefits. This way you get all those benefits as if you were a permanent employee.

5-6 months is correct, based on whether you're terminal or enroute. Actual time in OKC will be even shorter now that Basics is online, but actual time as an "academy student" might be closer to 13 months than not depending on how much of a delay you get between Basics and OKC...

5-6 months.... when did that change. It was 3 months for terminal and 4 for enroute including basics.

Its most definitely not anywhere close to 13 months as an academy student. If anything, its getting closer to the time frame it used to be, which was 3 months for terminal or 4 months for en route. They're moving along with the process again and finishing up the remainder of the initial classes via zoom. So I believe people are now getting 1 week in between finishing online basics and starting at the academy.

Got EODS and completed this morning. Glad to have seen it. I will now take my spot on the Hurry up and wait championship team bench again.
Can be maddening at times. The communication/info (lack of). But man...what a career once you get there

Did exactly this. I was honest and not overthinking, while answering consistently and I still got Tier 2. Yes I'm still salty and will be jealous once you guys have your class dates while I wait several months to see a shrink to make sure I'm not crazy 😂
I'm from 2019 OTS, but yeah same thing. I found out I flagged for being "defensive" aka too agreeable. The system felt that I was answering questions in a way that was like, "Yes, hire me, I'm a perfect person who never has any faults". Once I had my eval, the doc was like oh you're really just a happy-go-lucky, go-with-the-flow kind of person. I was like umm yeah, I hate confrontation, and I'd rather keep the peace at work and home. But, I always do terribly on personality assessments for the same reason so I really wasn't surprised.

SO...if you haven't taken the MMPI yet, don't be so nice lol

Keep in mind that the ‘shrinks‘ evaluating you are the ones that can barely put gas in their car and put their shoes on the wrong feet 🤣
