You can check the FAA catalog. June 2nd is listed as basics enroute class. So you probably wouldn't arrive to the academy until late July.

Yes. Apparently the flight surgeon I initially had was on medical leave and my paperwork just sat there for over a month. That was a little over a month ago when I found that out and medical switched the flight surgeon I was assigned to. I contacted my HR rep yesterday and she said that I am still waiting on medical.... so no change.

Man, that’s frustrating. Dealing w gov’t intelligence (oxymoron) can be maddening. Hang in there...

I contacted my HR Rep just make sure they have received my medical clearance. This was her response.

"I do show that you were pending a class date as of yesterday. We just received an updated class schedule from the Air Traffic Office, and we will start calling applicants to confirm start dates very soon. We will contact applicants based on the date all clearances were received, so it will be a while before we are able to place you into a class seat."

Giving you guys an update regarding class dates.

Yeah I contacted two weeks ago just to be told my med was still in review and they would have it all ready for me by "the end of the week" Yeah okay its now two weeks later with nothing.

Not sure how much you have to go over, mine was very short and only even happened because of miscommunication and mistakes by a former employer. But I would make sure you have all your info laid in front of you so you dont have to fumble to find an answer. Be prepared essentially. And obviously dont lie, but that's a given.

This is incredible news. At least in this thread, this is the first confirmation that things are now moving forward for most of us since the first week of February. Thanks for sharing!
