Facility Priority and Vacancy list

Facility Priority and Vacancy list

The date is on the updates tab. The info hasn't changed since the last update, I just attached a thread to it.

Does this list propagate first in the Priority Placement Tool and then the En Route Placement List or vice versa? Which is updated first based on this Facility Priority and Vacancy List? How quickly does this list propagate in whichever one is first?

For instance, ZJX is Top 5 En Route priority facilities, how soon would you see ZJX being added to the En Route Placement List?

You just opened a Pandora's box of questions. To give you an outline.
- Priority Placement Tool is run once per month.
- The Enroute Placement List changes continually.
- Without giving you a two page essay on it, just because a facility is high on the facility priority list, doesn't necessarily mean they're in dire need of controllers. There are numerous factors that determine where a facility is ranked, it's not simply a "Hey this facility needs 8 people and this one needs 7, the facility that needs 8 is ranked ahead of them." That's why you'll see some facilities that need 0 people in the top 10.

Long story short, the Enroute placement list updates continually based on the staffing workbook data that is pulled weekly. The Enroute placement list will always be the most up to data tool for people at and heading to the academy.

LOL...does that mean they definitely aren't picking up anyone off this list?

If a facility is over the national average they cannot pick anyone up on an ERR; unless, they are a level 9 and below. Then after the NCEPT goes through the whole entire list on the first pass, level 9 and below facilities can select anyone stilll eligible until that facility reaches 100%

Is this a theoretical list that shows how many each people a particular facility can release or does this list show how many people have actually ERR'ed out of a facility and qualify for a release?

It's the list used for each NCEPT panel. It's actual staffing.
