I'd say not yet they have until the 30th to fund a stopgap...til Nov 21. The pieces are in place and could go either way at this pointI have a start date of 10/13/19, should I be worried about a govt shutdown delaying my start date? Sorry, not too familiar with these matters yet.
Thanks!I'd say not yet they have until the 30th to fund a stopgap...til Nov 21. The pieces are in place and could go either way at this point
I don’t mind, as long as I’ll get back paid. LolThen you’ll have to worry about it shutting down while you’re there ?
They will most likely send you home which means you wont get any back pay. Thanks!

Oh snap. I know where I’ll be. At work and still not getting paid
Trainees don’t get backpay? They will most likely send you home which means you wont get any back pay.

I’m from the prior experience bid and guess we get sworn in on our first day at our facility? You swear in the first day at the academy.

Not if they close the Academy and send you home.Trainees don’t get backpay?
I’m at the academy now. Our class was supposed to eval Thursday/Friday this week and place Monday morning, but because of technical issues in the lab, our evals got pushed back to Mon/Tue next week. I know a shutdown sucks everybody, but the thought of it starting literally as you’re halfway through your evals is pretty petrifying tbh.
That doesn't mean you can handle the pressure and nerves.Your class would be 100% pass. Think of all the refresher scenarios you’d get to do. You’d end up with double the practice of anyone else.
These stupid sim problems don’t mean you can do the job at your facilityThat doesn't mean you can handle the pressure and nerves.
