Certainly wasn’t any Netflix being watched as the no radars trainee put all the EWR and Sat arrivals into a no notice hold for the second time in a week. Serious shit always devolves into bitching about how much separation were approved to use.

Not sure why that stemmed from me answering the question from a Z controller about why EWR can’t just work with the radar capability they have, but it did lol. Somebody confused me for the Z controller who originally asked the question so that’s probably a contributor to this sep talk shit show now.
 
Both the FAA and Union need to be put under investigation. Most "modern" system in world huh? Some big media needs to do a FOIA on all this and air it.

I think someone should FOIA the setup for the move. Especially the tech ops order for data path redundancy and bit rate guarantee. Maybe ask why if that was completed correctly and, if it wasn’t, why wasnt a waiver issued. Seems like higher ups, in the Agency, tried to push this through behind closed doors are trying to keep their potential missteps quiet.
